Born and raised in Highland Park, IL, I eventually traded snowy winters for the sunshine and palm trees of South Florida. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with degrees in Advertising and Radio/TV/Film, then headed to Los Angeles to work in show business. After several fast-paced years in production and entertainment PR, I had my twins and moved back to the Chicago suburbs to raise them.

As my children grew older, I felt ready to return to work and found myself drawn to college advising. What started in 2018 as conversations with friends quickly became a genuine passion. I completed the UC San Diego Extension Certificate in College Advising, followed by the IECA Boot Camp at Swarthmore College, and began working with a handful of close friends’ families.

I am an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), which holds me to high ethical standards and connects me to a strong network of colleagues and continuing education.

 

I’m a researcher and problem-solver who values staying current on trends and developments in higher education. I take pride in supporting and celebrating every unique student and helping families discover the college environment where their student will thrive. And as my own kids began pursuing internships, I became adept at using social media, networking, and thoughtful research to uncover opportunities; experience I now bring to the students I work with as they navigate internships and early career paths.
